Easy to Pack Lunches That Your Kids Will Eat!

You've seen the Pinterest boards full of swoon-worthy lunch boxes that probably took Mom an hour to pull off, right? This is not one of those lists!

But even if you're not one of "those" moms, it's nice to have some fresh ideas for easy things you can pack in your kids lunches. Whether you're sending them off with a designer bento box full of all five food groups, or a brown bag with a love note on the napkin, here are some ideas to keep handy during the school year.

In the Thermos:

  • Soup
  • Hot dog (cut in half)
  • Mac and cheese
  • Pasta
  • Quesadilla (cut in strips)
  • Chicken nuggets
  • Soft pretzel bites
  • Rice & beans
  • Fish sticks
  • Meatballs

Cold entrée:

  • Crackers, salami, cheese
  • Hummus, veggies, crackers
  • Muffin
  • Bagel (w/ cream cheese)
  • BLT
  • Turkey roll-up
  • Leftover pizza
  • Chicken salad
  • Lettuce wrap with chicken and Ranch dressing
  • Peanut butter crackers
  • Cold fried chicken
  • Cereal (with milk in a thermos)

Veggies:

  • Grape tomatoes
  • Cucumbers (slices, or those whole baby cukes)
  • Red peppers
  • Olives
  • Baby carrots
  • Celery sticks
  • Sugar snap peas

  • Cheese
  • Hardboiled eggs
  • Yogurt
  • Fruit
  • Applesauce
  • Granola bar
  • Pretzels
