Santa Claus is Coming to Zoom for Free for Special Local Families

MacKid is connecting Santa with local kids facing special circumstances for free Zoom calls

November 24, 2020

Santa visits will look a little different this year. Fortunately for us, the North Pole has super-strong wi-fi, and Santa’s elves were able to source a shiny new laptop for the big guy. This year instead of hiding his much-loved smile behind a mask – and struggling with the unavoidable spectacle-fog that mask-wearing causes – Santa Claus is looking forward to connecting safely with children and families on Zoom.

This has been a hard year for so many people, but for some families even more so. This year the private Santa Zoom calls will be reserved for children facing a serious illness, those who have lost a parent or sibling this year and/or those with a parent deployed. Santa is excited to share some extra holiday magic with these families!

Kids can talk about all the exciting gifts they want him to bring them this year. Let him share a short, fun holiday story with you. Ask him about life in the North Pole… about his reindeers… his travels… anything you like! Moms and Dads are also welcome to provide Santa with any relevant background information or special requests before the video call.
