Celebrating 38 years of quality, Christian preschool learning experiences for area children
Montgomery Methodist Children’s Center is looking to add several awesome 2’s teacher to our staff. Hours of employment are M/W and/or Tuesday/Thursday from 8:30 – 12:30 and class runs 9:00 – 12:00. Montgomery Methodist Children’s Center, located in Damascus near the border of Montgomery and Frederick counties, serves preschoolers from the Damascus, Mt. Airy, New Market, Ijamsville, Urbana, Clarksburg and surrounding areas. Montgomery Methodist provides a positive educational environment which encourages children to learn and grow emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. Through classroom interactions, our students learn to take turns, share, make new friends, and respect the rights of others. We also strive to instill in our students a love of learning that will follow them throughout their lives. Through participation in a variety of learning experiences in a Christian atmosphere and through the use of Bible stories and Christian songs, children are encouraged to develop Christian attitudes and behaviors.
Licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care, MMCC incorporates a Christian play-based approach using the state approved Creative Curriculum. Our program also participates in the MDEXCELS quality rating program.
