Montgomery Methodist Children's Center is a Christian based preschool program serving families in the Damascus, Mt. Airy, Ijamsville, Urbana and surrounding communities. Now in our 38th year of operation, MMCC offers a top quality half-day program with classes for 2's, 3's and Pre-K 4's. Licensed under Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Office of Child Care, our program provides a positive educational environment which encourages children to learn and grow emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. Our amazing staff of caring, Christian women strive to instill in our students a love of learning that will follow them throughout their lives.

Parent Review: "We had been attending Montgomery Methodist Church for about a year before it was time to enroll our son in preschool for his two year old year. It was only natural that we would want to enroll him in Montgomery Methodist Children’s Center as he was familiar with the environment. What we didn’t expect was to get such an amazing start to his education. He is our third and attending a different preschool than our older two because of a move. We had always been lucky to find wonderful loving preschools for our children, the staff at Montgomery Methodist are amazing and go above and beyond. They create not only a warm and loving environment, but the education and socialization the children receive is wonderful. Our son was lucky to attend in person for almost two years before Covid shut down the school. During his four year old year he completed their virtual enrichment program and thrived. Because of everything he had learned while in two’s and three’s along with the help of the enrichment program and some support from us he was prepared for kindergarten. Now, our three year old twins are attending and our experience has been even more wonderful. Our twins had been home almost completely with only our family for a year and a half, but made an incredibly smooth transition because of the amazing teachers and staff. Our girls now beg for it to be a preschool day and we are amazed at what they have learned over the past five months. We couldn’t be happier with Montgomery Methodist Children’s Center."
