Description
Mount Airy Rail Trail and Watkins Park Loop is a 1.8 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Mount Airy, Maryland that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Start at the beautifully renovated caboose and enjoy a stroll along the short rail trail. There are plenty of benches to stop and sit along the way. Then connect to the Richard Allen Wilson Memorial Trail that loops around Watkins Park.
