HiYa Karate is a family-owned, operated, and integrated Martial Arts Center located in Mount Airy, MD. HiYa Karate has been serving youth and adults alike since 2008. The dojo is built on a foundation of Yes I Can, empowering students to believe in themselves and others. Teaching self-defense is a major priority at HiYa. We teach our students how to avoid and deal with dangerous situations, making sure everyone remains as safe as possible. By practicing the martial art of Tang Soo Do or Way of the empty hand, HiYa Karate allows you and your children to attain physical, mental, and behavioral discipline needed to cultivate a healthy, balanced body and mind.
