Looking for a hopping, ribbiting good time? Come explore the world of spring peepers!
Those interested may pick either March 27 or April 1 to attend. The event, which is free and open to the public, starts at 7:15 p.m. in East West Park.
Please bring a bucket, sturdy fine mesh hand net and a flashlight. Water boots are recommended and participates are encouraged to wear clothing that can get muddy and wet.
This is a catch and release event.
All ages are welcome but those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No pets.
Pre-registration is required by calling 301-829-1424 or emailing parksmanager@mountairymd.gov. Space is limited and the event is expected to fill up fast.
